Do you want to paint pottery with real ceramic materials so you can use it when you bring it home? Would you like to make a self portrait plate, or a decorate a mug with your favorite animal? You can do that in this workshop! We will paint pre-made pottery (bisque) with lots of colors. Adventures in Art will fire the pottery to finish it with a bright, shiny glaze and bring it back to school so students can take their work home. In our two last classes we will finish pottery with a rainbow of colors, sparkle and glitter.

1. Terrific Tile We’ll use real ceramic materials and our creativity to decorate a tile using brushes, stencils and stamps.
4 & 5 Decorate Pre-made Pottery We’ll use acrylic paints to finish pre-made pottery like this dragon in a rainbow of colors. This project is for decorative use only and can go home on the day that we make it.
2. Painted Plate We’ll decorate plates with... faces!! Or patterns! ... Maybe a seascape!! If we want we can combine all of those things. What kind of plate do you want to make?
3. Mighty Mug Make a mug that is all your own; with your favorite animal and colors.
